Rated Ramp Capacity

Every platform, every deployment.

Close-up of aluminum hydraulic ramp deployed from wheelchair van showing load capacity rating plate

Our aluminum-alloy ramps are load-tested to 125% of rated capacity before leaving the facility. The in-floor hydraulic actuator uses dual-redundant seals and a pressure-relief bypass that prevents deployment under abnormal load.

Third-party stress certification on file for every unit. Q'Straint WC19 tie-down anchors rated to 2,500 lbs each — four-point securement per chair.

Floor-to-Ground Clearance

No curb. No ramp block. Just roll in.

Kneeling suspension drops the entry threshold to 6.2 inches off the ground — lower than a standard sedan door sill. The air-bag system deploys automatically when the transmission is in park, raising back to OEM ride height when you shift to drive.

Compatible with all power and manual chair profiles up to 30″ wide. Floor pan is lowered 10″ from OEM — no hump, no transition strip, full flat surface to the securement zone.

Average Ramp Cycle Life-Test

We cycle every ramp 10,000 times before it ships.

Workshop technician performing hydraulic ramp cycle test on wheelchair van conversion in professional facility

Each ramp assembly runs 10,000 full deploy-and-retract cycles on our in-house test rig — that's roughly 27 years of daily use at one round trip per day. We measure actuator pressure variance, seal integrity, and surface wear at cycles 100, 500, 2,500, 5,000, and 10,000.

Mean time between failure in field data: 94,000 cycles. Hydraulic fluid change interval: 36 months or 15,000 cycles, whichever comes first. 3-year full structural warranty, 5-year corrosion warranty.

Hospital Fleet

"We run 28 patient transport units through Adapt. The Q'Straint install is flawless — our drivers can secure a power chair in under 45 seconds. Not a single securement incident in three years."

Hospital Discharge

"Our discharge coordinator called on a Thursday. The family had a Pacifica in our lot by Monday. Adapt's turnaround on urgent single-unit orders is something no other converter can match at this quality level."

Family

"My daughter uses a Permobil M3. The in-floor ramp deploys in 9 seconds and the chair clicks into the WC19 anchor without me touching anything. We drove cross-country last summer. Zero issues."

Dealer Fleet

"We placed a 40-unit order for our paratransit expansion. Adapt assigned us a dedicated production coordinator, weekly build-status reports, and delivered all 40 units within the same 6-week window. Exceptional."

Dealer

"The OEM-matched interior finish is what closes deals for us. Clients see a Sienna that looks like it came from Toyota with a ramp — not a conversion. That matters when you're selling to families."

Home Care

"I was skeptical about the 6-week lead time claim. We placed the order, got weekly build photos, and the Sprinter arrived on day 41. The hydraulic ramp deployed on the first try, in 34°F weather."
